Let's talk about quick ways to self care

For this week, I thought it would be nice to come up with a list of ways that we can take care of ourselves, quickly!


One of the common misconceptions that I heard often from my clients was that they don't have time to take care of themselves. I would hear that they don't have time or money to go on a fancy spa day, go on vacation, eat at a fancy restaurant, get a massage, etc. Trust me, I understand!


So let's look at some ways we can do some self care quickly!

  1. Listen to a fun song or a song that makes you smile.

  2. Do a puzzle

  3. Read a children's book! I like to read Shel Silverstein poems that make me giggle!

  4. Look in the mirror and say 5 good things about yourself

  5. Look at funny pictures. I tend to look at cute funny animal pictures.
